Thanks for all the well-wishes, but we ended up not going to North Carolina after all. Luck was on our side and Hanna decided to skip over Savannah and head straight for the Carolinas. We’re still under a tropical storm warning, so we’ll be getting lots of wind and rain over the next few days.
Next worry: Hurricane Ike. Here’s hoping he a big turn towards the East. That’s a bad boy.

Sisy…please get out of there early if you can. Ike is really nasty and we’re hoping we don’t have to evacuate either. Hurricane season sucks, man.
