I just wanted to take a moment to wish you all a Merry Christmas. My dinner is almost done, and my family and I are getting ready to settle down to a well-earned Christmas feast. After that, it’s hot chocolate, eggnog, and the final stretch of 24 Hours of “A Christmas Story”. It’s been nothing less than a perfect Christmas.

Here’s hoping that you and your loved ones had a blessed day. And here’s to an even happier New Year.

I bought my son the Family Guy Blue Harvest Special Collector DVD set. It came with a t-shirt, collector cards, a set of 3-D glasses, and a booklet. He was stoked. Yes…I’m a very bad mother. :)

A closeup of our very bling Christmas tree. After two years of the same silver and glass decorations, my husband has vowed for a traditional tree. But I love my blingy disco balls!

I’m the world’s biggest “Christmas Story” fan. My husband knows this, and he also knows that I’ve decided to start a Christmas village, so he bought me my very first village piece. This is the Bumpus house, you know – Ralphie’s hillbilly neighbors with the dogs. Love it. Next up…Ralphie’s house!
